It’s. About. To go down, in H-town. Local chefs and bartenders are ready to show off their skills, and win your hearts at the first annual Culinary Carnival at Eleven:Eleven Restaurant & Bar on June 8.
What do you eat at a Culinary Carnival? Well, some of Houston’s hottest chefs will be serving sweet and savory dishes on a stick. Taste their best as they compete for awards in best dish, most creative and people’s choice. Quench your thirst with cocktails created by master mixologists battling for the coolest cocktail. No, Tom Cruise won’t be on hand to sing and dance on the bar…but, there will be face painters, carnival games, a trivia challenge and music to keep everyone entertained.

Be there, or be a hungry square! I had a blast trying new dishes at the Curry Crawl a few weeks ago, and can tell you these events are a great way to try restaurants and meet new people. Hurry and get your tickets to the Culinary Carnival, just $50 covers all your food samples and cocktails. Even better, the proceeds benefit PULSE at St. Luke’s Foundation.
