Is it time for your check-up? This weekend, the Doc is in the house, in San Antonio both Saturday and Sunday! Gather up your Doc McStuffins fans, and head to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (between 9:30-5) to enjoy some free family fun. San Antonio is the 4th stop on Disney Junior’s Doc McStuffins Mobile Tour, and the fun is on a roll.
Guess what? Kids can even bring in their stuffed animal and give them a check-up! My almost 5 year old daughter is a HUGE Doc McStuffins fan and would love to take her monkey in and sing….
I’m gonna check your ears, check your eyes, find out how much you’ve grown….
The DocMobile tour’s theme revolves around teaching kids “there’s so much you can do…to take care of you.” Activities for kids include: a play area called “Stuffy’s Imagination Playground”; room to exercise in “Doc’s Stretch & Flex” area; a chance to get a drink of water and learn why drinking water is important at “Lenny’s Hydration Station”; and kids can color a place-mat while learning how to create a healthy balanced plate at “Doc’s Picnic Time”
Parents and children also have a chance to meet and interact with real doctors from Artemis Medical Society. The society is a group of over 2500 female African-American physicians from around the world that formed to support and celebrate each other after being inspired by “Doc McStuffins”.
If you can’t make it this weekend, the Doc McStuffins Mobile Tour will be in Dallas/Ft. Worth on Friday, September 6 at the Fort Worth Museum of Science from 10:30 AM – 4 PM.
